A fun filled day for all members to attend, we hope for a good turnout so please put the date in your diary.

From 9am onwards,

People will be encouraged to show what skills they have, so by all means bring some tools,

After a light lunch There will be a guided tour around the woodland, to view the potential for materials, courses, habitat creation etc, it will touch on the history of the woodland, including an ancient charcoal site, ploughed fields that show a century of succession into high canopy woodland, wooded hangers that were cut out by the glaciers thousands of years ago.

It will be great getting to know each other and trying new skills, inspiration, ideas , future projects, planing what can be achieved with joint effort and enthusiasm at shows etc.

Bring food and a bottle, picnic etc , there will be a bbq and Deer (donated by Wayne) bring a plate and a cup a spoon and a knife. It would probably be better to have the main eating in the evening and a light lunch. To avoid wasting daylight.
